2008 marks the bicentennial year for the Town of Keene. To celebrate this momentous occasion, Martha and Stan Oliva decided to create a compilation CD of various performing artists who live in the town. This CD is to benefit the Keene and Keene Valley fire departments and can be purchased directly through the respective fire departments.

Most of the credit for this CD goes to Stan. He took on the task of finding the local musicians (and storyteller) and finding the funding to make this project happen. Some of the performers submitted their own recordings for the CD. Those that did not submit any recordings were recorded at Stan's studio, located in Keene.

Over the next few weeks, additions will be made to this web page providing links to information about the artists and their contributions to the CD.

A special Thank You goes to John Thaxton for the use of his photo. The photo was taken a few years ago on New Year's Eve during a rare blue moon. The light in the sky was provided by a brilliant moon (temperatures near -10) and, if you look closely, Venus setting in the western sky.

To find out about each performer, click on their name in the list below. If a link exists to their information, you will be taken there.
