Boldly Going Nowhere

Moose in the House ©2018 Dennis Gallagher all rights reserved

When our daughter was young, we had great fun yelling "Moose in the House". There was no real reason for this, except after moving into the house I discovered some antlers in the attached shed that was dangling off the back of the house.

This song also pays homage to one of my guitar heros (all guitarists have guitar heros). Tom Akstens taught me a basic fingering progression in Open G that could be applied to other open tunings. I think of Tom every time I play this song as it is based on this progression and uses a little turn of phrase I picked up from that learning session.
